The SVS Group was launched in an effort to provide a broader range of recruitment services for Silicon Valley Staffing, Inc. clients.  The SVS Group focuses on placing executive level positions yet having the capabilities and experience to fill professional to lower management level positions.  SVS Group provides retained executive search services for mid to high-level executive positions, including Director to CEO, President, and Board of Director levels.  Retained engagements are used for positions that require a higher level of attention.  These are positions that have a strategic impact to their businesses or organizations.  Retained engagements require experience maneuvering through the talent marketplace in a prudent and careful manner. 

Steve Okano, who has over 20 years in recruitment experience, directs the professional and executive search division of SVS Group.  Mr. Okano has directed executive and professional level searches with Strategic Pursuits, Vitus Associates, and Okano & Associates.  Steve's corporate experience includes directing worldwide executive searches for Duty Free Shoppers/Moet Hennessey Louis Vuitton and national searches for investment leader, Charles Schwab.  Over the past 20 years, Steve Okano has provided recruitment support for various types of clients, including retail, financial services, healthcare, real estate, public accounting, high tech, insurance, banking, wholesale/distribution, and not-for-profits.  Steve has recruited for functional areas in human resources, accounting/finance, tax, sales, marketing, legal, field operations, call center management, product development, advertising and packaging, logistics, IT, merchandising, planning, and executive officers.  Steve's experience also includes international and diversity directed searches.
